This is not our main business, and we are not a dedicated event space. We are a working cafe most days. But a few times a month, we close early and hand the whole room over to a brand, a production, or a family. Every inquiry comes straight to me or my team, and we reply personally within a couple of hours.

Frequently Asked.

What are the hourly rates and minimum booking times?
All rentals have a 3-hour minimum. Pricing starts at $200 per hour for production use, $350 per hour for private parties, and scales by time of day. Full Takeover is a flat $2,500 on weekdays and $3,000 on weekends. Use the calculator above for a live estimate.
Can I bring in outside catering and my own alcohol?
Yes, with The Gathering package. Outside catering and BYOB are both permitted, self-service. Our staff is on-site to support.
How many guests can the space hold?
75 standing, 45 seated. For events with staggered arrivals, the total guest list can be higher. Tell us how your event is structured and we will walk through what works.
Where is No More Cafe and how is the load-in?
352 East 13th Street, between First and Second Avenue. Load-in is street level, no stairs. Closest trains: L at First Avenue, 6 at Astor Place.
Can I bring a DJ?
Yes, DJs are welcome. We have speakers (aux and Bluetooth) and a microphone. Any other gear, including turntables, mixers, CDJs, and lighting, your DJ has to bring.
Is your venue available for corporate events and brand activations?
Yes, this is one of the most common ways the space gets used. Brands book us for launches, tastings, press events, offsites, and team gatherings. The Ritual package includes full NA bar service for hosted events, and Full Takeover gives you the whole room for a flat daily rate.
What equipment and amenities are included?
Every package includes house sound system with aux and Bluetooth, projector, vintage tuned piano, WiFi, restroom access, and all existing furniture and lighting. The Ritual and Full Takeover with service also include glassware, barware, and bar station setup.
How do I secure my date, and what deposit is required?
A 50% deposit paid via Square invoice secures your event date. The remaining balance, including NYC sales tax, is due on the day of your event. Deposit acts as contract acceptance, no separate signature required.
Are there noise restrictions or a music cutoff?
We ask that music wind down by midnight out of respect for our East Village neighbors. Most events wrap between 10pm and midnight. If your event needs to run later, mention it in your inquiry and we will work it out.
Can I decorate the space?
Yes, with one rule: free-standing decor only. Flowers, signage on stands, balloons, and table settings are all welcome. We ask that you avoid tape, nails, or anything that damages walls, ceilings, or existing decor.
Is the venue accessible?
The entrance is street level with no stairs. The space is a single open floor with accessible restroom facilities. If your event has specific accessibility needs, mention them in your inquiry and we will make sure everything is set up for your guests.
What taxes and fees apply?
NYC sales tax of 8.875% is added at invoicing. Gratuity is included on every package, there are no hidden service fees, no surprises at checkout.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations 7 to 30 days before the event receive 50% of the deposit back. Within 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable. We are flexible for extraordinary circumstances and will work with you in good faith if things change.
Can I schedule a site visit before booking?
Yes, always. We offer walkthroughs so you can see the East Village space, meet our team, and talk through logistics in person before you commit. Mention your preferred day and time in your inquiry and we will coordinate.
Can you help me find a photographer, musician, or other vendors?
Yes. We have a bench of photographers, musicians, DJs, florists, and caterers we trust. Tell us what you need and we will make introductions.
