EPI: Mural & Music, Part II
This second chapter sees a monumental mural reach completion through the lens of layered violin looping and real-time resonance. Every technical gesture responds to the tonal shifts of the live performance; creating a structured dialogue between visual art and intentional sound. Guests are invited to witness this culinary-adjacent craft while enjoying a complimentary curated cocktail.
Chris McCarthy
Recognized as one of the most imaginative voices on the New York jazz scene, Chris McCarthy brings four records of restless curiosity to the keys. His playing balances invention with restraint; Seattle roots layered under the precision and intensity of a decade in New York. Currently recording his fifth album for La Reserve Records, McCarthy delivers the kind of piano that rewards close listening.
Takaaki Otomo
To restart our Thursday series; No More welcomed Takaaki Otomo. Having recently rejoined the New York scene from Japan; Takaaki offered a sophisticated piano style built on technical excellence. We appreciated having his craft in our East Village space for the evening.
Holly Bean
Continuing our Thursday series; No More welcomed back Holly Bean. Her classical and jazz style provided an evening of quiet focus and layered sound; a performance that resonated deeply within the intimacy of the room.

Paul Torres
To conclude our January series; No More hosted Paul Torres and his band. A master of rhythm and atmosphere; Torres brought a full ensemble sound to the intimacy of our room; marking the final notes of the January Series with technical brilliance.
Marius Van Den Brink
We welcome pianist and composer Marius Van Den Brink to the February Sessions. A Pathways to Jazz grant recipient; Marius recently released his acclaimed album Blauw; recorded with jazz legends Jeff "Tain" Watts and Orlando le Fleming. He brings a technical brilliance and modern New York edge to our East Village space for an evening of focused; high-caliber composition.
Craig Greenberg
Native New Yorker Craig Greenberg brings his acclaimed piano-forward sound to the February Sessions. Known for soulful musical twists and dramatic storytelling; Greenberg offers a sophisticated ivory tradition built on years of NYC craft. We look forward to an evening of quiet focus and layered sound in our East Village space.

Antoinette Ady x Love. An immersive; real-time encounter where the layered textures of live violin looping shape the creation of a monumental 15 x 6 ft mural. Ben Rosenblum
Award winning pianist and accordionist Ben Rosenblum brings a narrative-driven technicality to the stage through a unique blend of global jazz influences. His compositions prioritize melodic depth and structured complexity; offering a sonic landscape that transcends traditional genre boundaries. He has earned international acclaim for an innovative approach to performance that remains both technically rigorous and emotionally resonant.
Holman Alvarez
Colombian pianist and composer Holman Álvarez explores the intersection of Latin American traditions, contemporary jazz, and free improvisation. His work reflects a deep curiosity for connecting diverse disciplines through a body of work that ranges from chamber compositions to experimental ensemble projects. Now active in the New York scene, his recent releases prioritize an exploratory musicality that bridges cultural borders with technical precision.
Cowork & Chill
The day begins with intentional side by side productivity for NYC’s creative class in an atmosphere of quiet sophistication. As the sun sets, the workspace dissolves into a social evening defined by rhythmic curation and layered, culinary-forward cocktails. It is an evolution of the third place experience where focus meets the ritual of the evening toast.
NYC Backgammon Club
A partnership of strategy and atmosphere. No More Cafe welcomes the NYC Backgammon Club on March 2nd. An evening dedicated to the timeless board game; where tactical depth meets our curated beverage program. Whether a seasoned player or a curious observer, the room is yours for the night.
Art x Love
Harrison Love. A large scale oil painting, completed live across Wednesday evenings. Each week, a different stage unfolds. Layer by layer, mark by mark. Come once or return weekly and watch it transform. Non-alcoholic libations and curated snacks throughout the evening.
Oya Noire
The Haitian American vocalist brings a commanding presence to the café with a performance rooted in the complex structures of neo soul and jazz. Her emotionally layered melodies and magnetic stage power offer a sophisticated sonic experience that mirrors the artisanal depth of our cocktail program. Join us for an evening defined by intentional craft and a commanding voice that leaves a lasting impression.
Ittetsu Nasuda
Born in Tokyo and refined by the competitive New York circuit, Ittetsu Nasuda delivers a technical mastery that bridges the gap between improvisational jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythm. His performance explores a complex musical identity, weaving traditional Japanese influences into a structured and intentional soundscape. This session invites guests to experience a layered cultural hybrid that reflects the same level of craftsmanship found in our culinary program.
